Shepherd & Jellicoe's ITALIAN GARDENS OF THE RENAISSANCE

I've posted a high resolution copy of the majority of this great 1925 book filled with watercolor drawings of 15th through 17th century gardens of Italy.
Art Historical periods encompassed are:  Renaissance, Mannerism, & Baroque.

At this time in history there was no "Landscape Architect" or "Civil Engineer" or "Interior Designer".  There was "Painter", "Sculptor", and "Architect".  Architects did infrastructure, landscape, fortifications, streets, plazas, public buildings, and formal houses (or Villas and Palazzos).
